Beloved child actor Charles "Charlie" Brown died of complications from AIDS at his home in White House, Tenn. He was 50.

Among the glitterati who turned out were mourners Tigger and Winnie the Pooh, shown here with their dates. Conspicuously absent from the festivities was Brown's long-time companion Linus, who has been in seclusion since Brown's death.
